NAMI WHEELING: Associate Director/Board of Directors.

As a non-voting Board member and employee of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, I work to end stigma and stereotyping surrounding Mental Health. As the Associate Director of our Wheeling Facility I facilitate groups on topics ranging from mental health maintenance strategies to music therapy. Learn more about our work here and here

ACLU-WV: Board of Directors.

The ACLU-WV is devoted exclusively to protecting the basic civil liberties of all in the state of West Virginia, and extending them to groups that have traditionally been denied them. In its more than five decades of existence, the ACLU-WV has become widely recognized as the state’s foremost advocate of individual rights. Learn more about our work here.

ACLU-WV Northern Panhandle Chapter: President.

The Northern Panhandle Chapter of the ACLU of WV is the only chapter in the state and represent 6 counties including Hancock, Brook, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, and Tyler.  Out mission is to act an extension to the services provided my our state ACLU as well as through hosting and facilitating training’s and events. YWCA Wheeling: Board of Directors.

Working to eliminate racism and empower women. While adopting the gently used clothing store at our location called the “Y Not Repeat Boutique”, I work with many others to encourage women in vulnerable circumstances to advance in ways of education and employment. Learn more about our work here.

The Women’s Commission of WV: Board of Directors.

Uplifting the voices of women across the state of WV through community action, civic engagement, economic empowerment and social development. Learn more about our work here

Our Children Our Future: Steering committee member.

Working to end child poverty by working with the state of WV on economic empowerment through the protection of necessary safety net programs as through creating education tools around poverty competency. Learn more about the work we do here   

Ohio Valley Pride: Community Liaison.

Acting as the liaison between the Board of Directors and the community at large, I discover resources and opportunities that help OVP pursue and sustain it’s mission of Pride though grants, community contributions, and public events.  Learn more about our work here
